Welcome to my world of self care
I have been supporting clients to better wellbeing through reflexology for nearly 10 years after completing my Level 5 Reflexology Mastership with Jubilee Colllege.
Since then I have trained in Swedish Massage, Spiritual Life Coaching, Life Coaching & Mindfulness, Mental Health First Aid, Chakra Balancing and as an IMPACT Wellbeing Instructor, to better support my clients.
Finding the time to look after ourselves has become more important than ever as often our lives are so busy with work and families. Sometimes we can feel disconnected from the world around us as we carry out our day to day lives and we might feel unfulfilled or frustrated, but not be able to put our finger on exactly why – this is where paying attention to our spiritual wellbeing and taking time for self care comes in.
Spiritual wellbeing can often be misunderstood as either a religious concept or something a bit out there and “woo woo”. In fact, it refers simply to us finding fulfilment in our lives and feeling a connection with something greater than ourselves. It’s that feeling that you are living your life as you are meant to – as your true self, that it has meaning and purpose and that we are all connected.
“Living life as your authentic self allows you to trust yourself and the decisions you make and you are then able to enjoy life’s challenges and celebrations.”
Nurturing your spiritual self can be done in many ways, but mostly it comes from looking within and understanding your personal needs and desires so you can honour them in your life. It’s also about respecting the needs and desires of others and sharing them with each other and the world.
Many people gain a greater understanding of themselves through meditation or yoga and others through working with crystals and tarot cards. It also comes through being in nature and taking small moments to be still and feel grounded, through journaling, creative hobbies or deep thoughtful moments.
Join me in a journey to nurture yourself and your wellbeing and hopefully I will inspire and remind you to take some time out for self care.
